Who Are We？
MechaX is a robot team established on the basis of the X-Innovation Center of Chongqing University. Its members are undergraduates majoring in mechanics, electrical information, and automation.

“MechaX” is the newly launched team name of the Robot team in the 2022 season. It is more in line with the modern and simple aesthetics, and it also symbolizes a new beginning; “Mecha” means robots, “X” means cross, and means to use robots as a carrier to learn disciplines Intersecting knowledge can improve one’s own innovation ability in the robot competition.

What do we do？
Our main goal is to participate in the RoboMaster University Series (RMU),Including RoboMaster University Championship (RMUC),RoboMaster University League (RMUL)

The RoboMaster is a platform for robotic competitions and academic exchange founded by DJI, and was specially designed for global technology enthusiasts. Since its establishment in 2013, RoboMaster has been committed to its mission of “empowering young learners to transform their world with the power of engineering and technology.” It attracts engineering talents with interdisciplinary abilities and showcases the possibilities of technological innovation to audiences around the globe.

It requires participants to go beyond their textbooks to form robotics teams, develop a diverse fleet of robots, and participate in team battles. Through the intense competition, students gain invaluable industry experience and strategic planning skills. This helps them combine their book smarts with practical skills in the field, enabling the construction of the most advanced and intelligent robots.
In order to participate in the competition, we spend about 8 months per year completely designing the robot from scratch, including mechanical structure, motion control, computer vision and AI algorithms

RoboMaster is the most important experience in my University career and even in my life. During the competition, I learned about machinery, hardware, and software technology. Outside the competition, I learned about technical communication, leading the team, managing project progress, and seeking investment support from sponsors. This competition has trained me from a student doing test papers to a young engineer with logical design thinking and a lot of engineering skills.
As one of the creators of MechaX, I am very gratified to see that the team is harmoniously coexisting and the technical level is getting higher and higher. We pass on the torch from generation to generation, and pass on the MechaX spirit: love technology, be brave in hard work, and pass on the spirit of unity and cooperation.
