Photography|Winter Brake Road Trip
On December 15-22, My friends and I went on a road trip, starting from San Diego and passing through Las Vegas, visiting several national parks. I took a lot of landscape photos and designed them into postcard styles.
The Viltrox FE 16mm f/1.8 AF wide-angle lens was extensively used in this landscape photography collection. Composing with a wide-angle lens can be quite challenging. On one hand, it’s essential to carefully control the scene’s size and composition, as wide-angle lenses capture a much larger field of view. Therefore, selecting the right scene becomes particularly important. Using line-based composition techniques, such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, or curves, can help reduce clutter and create a strong sense of order in the frame.
On the other hand, the wide-angle lens’s expansive field of view makes it ideal not only for landscapes but also for capturing distant vistas and panoramic scenes, enhancing the expressiveness of the image. However, when photographing people at close range, it’s best to avoid close-up shots due to potential distortion. Instead, wide-angle lenses excel at capturing full scenes or environmental portraits, which can deliver a more dramatic and impactful effect.

With the help of my friends, I also used my iPhone to take some photos of me and the scenery. I lamented that in the face of the magnificent natural scenery, human beings are extremely small.
Thank you for your appreciation, I hope you like my works!
